Child Wrangling

The following took place between 9:00am and 10:00am:

[10:00] Brent: what happened?
[10:53] Tami: ok i’m here now
[10:53] Tami: im going to play group but danny is still sleeping
[10:53] Tami: so i’ll go late
[10:53] Brent: what happened? More…
[10:54] Tami: so i’d been trying to get both kids occupied at the same time all morning so i could [go to the bathroom]
[10:54] Tami: i finally gave up and just put the baby on the bed.. he was fussing
[10:54] Tami: and went to [go to the bathroom] while jake was downstairs
[10:54] Tami: of course he comes up like 2 secs later
[10:54] Tami: climbs on the bed with the baby… which helps for the moment.. baby is happy
[10:55] Tami: but then i hear jake saying nite nite baby
[10:55] Tami: and the baby is quiet so i have to jump off the toilet to see whats happening
[10:55] Tami: jake has put the big blue blanket completely over the baby
[10:55] Tami: and the baby is like flailing around underneath
[10:56] Tami: so i take the blanket away and tell jake he cant do that…
[10:56] Tami: at which he completely freaks out
[10:56] Tami: but i had to go [go to the bathroom] some more so i left him
[10:56] Tami: so hes screaming bloody murder and so is the baby
[10:56] Tami: then i hear a big thud as jake has fallen off the bed
[10:56] Tami: more screaming
[10:57] Brent: ouch
[10:57] Tami: jake comes into me…. wanting the blanket… i tell him no… so he hits me
[10:57] Tami: so i yell at him and spank him
[10:57] Tami: all this while i’m still trying to [go to the bathroom]
[10:58] Tami: and then as hes crying he suddenly is saying Potty potty
[10:58] Tami: so i have to jump off the toilet to put jake on
[10:58] Tami: baby is screaming
[10:58] Tami: jake finally pees in the potty after like 3 tries and flushes
[10:58] Tami: i flip the baby over on his tummy and he goes to sleep
[10:58] Tami: and jake is runnign around naked
[10:59] Tami: and i give up on the rest of my [go to the bathroom]-ing
[10:59] Brent: This is just funny
[10:59] Brent: I’m putting it on the blog
[10:59] Tami: no i dont want everyone reading about my [go to the bathroom]-ing!!!
