- I’m awesome (but only moderately humble). Tami thinks I’m lame.
- I reward myself whenever I go to Home Depot with a chocolate milkshake. (From the value menu at Burger King)
- I used to dunk a basketball (I even broke a rim in my heyday), but I’m afraid to try now because I don’t think I could do it.
- I think that the basic food groups should be: pizza, cereal, ice cream, and pancakes.
- My High School Basketball Team was ranked 3rd in the state in Division 1 and 12th overall.
- I do better on the English/Reading/Writing portions of standardized tests than the Math parts.
- I read pretty fast.
- I fidget pretty much constantly.
- Geology is a fascinating subject. And yes, through certain parts of Nevada, Arizona and Utah, I have bored my wife to tears.
- I worked a newspaper route from ages 11 to 18.
- My Great-Grandfather invented a steam iron.
- I’m not very good at surfing, but I like to try.
- I wear size 14 shoes. In certain shoe stores they take me to the area in the back with the clown shoes.
- Toys I would like: an iphone, a DSLR camera, a new laptop, the Wii.
- Where my money is actually going: floors – carpet and laminate, paint, cars, glasses, diapers, food.
- I laugh at emails (mostly spam) with subjects like “Revered cheese wheel” and “rapacious freight train”.
- I have spent 3-4 hours making a computer program do something that would have taken me 1 hour to do manually. But I probably wouldn’t have been as accurate as the program was.
- Embarrassing moments in movies make me very uncomfortable. Depending on the severity of the uncomfortable-ness I might have to go get something out of the refrigerator.
- Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure has not received the acclaim that it deserves as a masterpiece of 80’s cinema.
- Given my druthers, I would like to write a spectacularly entertaining novel.
- I’ve exchanged work for stock in a company. Don’t ask how much it’s worth, because I don’t have a clue.
- I probably go through about 6 qts of ice cream a month (3-4 normal sized buckets).
- Fixing/repairing cars is a skill I wish to acquire.
- I’ve never had a bad job/boss.
- My roommate and I sparked a comeback against Utah St. several years ago through our cheering efforts. (Sadly, we’re not mentioned in the article). This was updated with the proper link. This game was awesome and the previously linked game, while awesome, wasn’t as awesome.

“I read pretty fast” is a definite understatement. They guy plows through good size novels in a matter of hours! It’s a little annoying to me – as I plug along… the English major.

What a strange coincidence, Rapacious Freight Train is the name of my new band, and we are releasing our first album: Revered Cheese Wheel, on August 1st.
