President Gordon B. Hinckley, the prophet and president (for the last 13 years) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints passed away last night at the age of 97.

I SO loved this man. To say he will be missed is a serious understatement. Even though I never met him – I feel like a dear friend is gone. I still remember sitting on the 2nd row to hear him speak at a youth conference when I was just 13. Such power, and yet such humility and love. And always so cheerful and upbeat. You couldn’t help but love President Hinckley.

Likewise, you can’t help but be happy for their reunion! It’s so good to know the prophet and his wife are together again. If there ever was a “Cutest Couple” it was definitely the Hinckley’s.
I feel so blessed to have learned from this man for so many years. My faith is stronger because of his example. And I think the world is a better place for having had him in it. Check out this quick tribute Glenn Beck gave on the news the other night. I think he speaks for a lot of us…
See what others have to say about President Hinckley (including President Bush) in this article – I especially like Orrin Hatch’s statement:
