It is my pleasure to announce that after much anticipation and hard work, Danny FINALLY pooped in the potty yesterday afternoon… for the first time ever!! YAY! After several failed attempts, this is a big deal. He said, “Mom, I need to go potty,” went in the bathroom, closed the door, did everything himself, then yelled, “Mommy! I did it!!” It’s been a long road coming and potty training is still in the early stages – but at least we’re making progress.
Slowly but surely.
Ah parenthood. It’s sad to think how many people choose to never know the sheer joy that a 2 year old’s poop can bring… It made my day.
