We just got back into town this morning, and YIKES! I’m behind in the blogging world! I’ve been meaning to do a post about Danny’s little Jr. Sports class he just “graduated” from about 2 weeks ago. Sorry it’s kind of late – I’ll do a Thanksgiving vacation post next… Thanks to everyone for their camera input. It was very helpful – I’m pretty sure Santa/my husband bought a nice little Canon Elph that I’ll be happy with. But I’ll have to wait till Christmas to play with it. 🙂

Anyways, Danny had a great time playing soccer, T-ball, basketball, track and field, and flag football with some of his good buddies – Crew and Ryan. He must’ve been close to the youngest, if not the youngest in a group of about ten 3 – 5 year olds. At times he seemed a little lost compared to some of the older kids and didn’t quite grasp all the instructions. But that never stopped him from trying and having lots of fun. He loved warming up with the coaches – doing push ups, jumping jacks, stretching. So cute! And like a true Nef – his favorite sport was definitely basketball. He really excelled at that one – making his dad very proud. But of course, Mom didn’t bring her camera on basketball day. 🙁 I did, however bring the camera on flag football day and caught what I thought was a pretty funny moment. Watch how my huge 3 year old just barrels over this other kid while running the football. He is the one in black shorts, on the very end closest to the camera, left side. Note how when he gets back up he has no idea where he is supposed to be running, doubles back, and takes off in the wrong direction – his only concern is that he doesn’t get tagged. At least he understood that part of the game!
After 8 weeks of class Danny was more excited than anything else to walk away with an ugly, neon orange team shirt, a neon yellow sports bottle, and and equally ugly matching backpack. Hooray for hideous team colors!
