1️⃣ One year ago, my Grandpa Finlayson passed away. It was quite sudden. On Memorial Day he went to a church breakfast, came home to get ready to go shopping for a new car, got in the shower and collapsed. I miss him.
2️⃣ Tami has been called as our wards’ Primary President. For those unfamiliar with the way our church functions, all the leadership positions are volunteer based. This means that Tami’s been asked to oversee the childrens organization in our area (ward) (her responsibilities include: 85 kids, 15 sunday school teachers, our cub scouts pack, and singing time/music with the kids). This also means that her free time has been significantly reduced, leaving her blogging time restricted as well.
3️⃣ At Sunday dinner, Danny told us about a story he heard in class about a young man who found his much needed lost money after praying to find it. This reminded us about our own Jacobs’ similar experience and I decided to put it here for posterity:
4️⃣ Josh is teething. Yay. He’s pretty cute and chubby though, so he’s got that going for him.
